Why ‘Live Physics’ book is different?

We all say that we practice Mathematics but when it comes to Physics, we say we study Physics. My aim of writing this book is that a student should get a book in which he or she is able to learn and practice Physics.

Like in mathematics book, we have a concept and then examples on that concept. The same philosophy has been used in this book. The book is very different from other books as there are many solved “Build your concept” numericals. The problems made will help in developing interest in physics. I have tried to use all permutation and combination to give a better clarity of all concepts used to enhance numerical solving skills.

The language used in the book is very simple and easy to understand for any student. Various simple exercises have been provided in between the chapters such that a student continuousely gains confidence as he moves in a chapter. Most problems have been provided with a detailed solution.

The book divides the complete class 11 syllabus into 23 chapters. For better concept clarity, bigger chapters have been broken into smaller topics. The book follows the complete syllabus of NCERT, JEE Main and Advanced. Each chapter contains:

  • Quick Notes – provides the salient points related to topic or concept.
  • Build your concept – provides multiple numbers of solved examples to illustrate problem approach and solving.
  • Concept Checker – provides simple objective questions to check your learning.
  • Concept Applicator – practice exercise with detailed solutions at the end of each chapter.
    • Objective problem contains MCQs
    • Passage based MCQs
    • Match the column
    • Integer/ subjective problem

The book has been empowered with an assessment and feedback CD, which contains a practice test for each chapter, i.e 23 tests containing 15- 20 questions each. The CD provides instantaneous result after the submission of the test.
The most interesting part of the CD are the video solutions which discuss step by step approach to solve each of the problems which guides the students to understand how to approach the problem and solve it in minimum amount of time. I strongly feel that the CD will help in the reinforcement of the concept that the student has learned in the book.

” Some books are to be tasted, others to be swallowed and some few to be chewed and digested.” LIVE PHYSICS is one such book which if chewed and digested will surely prove to be the most important step for IIT aspirants. Thank you so much Anish Sir for writing such a book and help us enlighten our unborn future. Whether it be the required theory or numerical problems all are on a level apart. Thank you Sir!
